Keto Low Carb Chocolate Mousse


A quick and easy chocolate mousse that everyone will enjoy. Delicious for potlucks and tiered desserts! I recommend chilling for approximately 30 minutes to firm up and give it a lovely chill, but this may be eaten straight away. You can experiment with the amount of chocolate you use. If you need a chocolate layer for a dessert, this is the recipe to use.


Reduce Serving 2 The original recipe provides two servings.

3 oz. softened cream cheese

12 c. thick cream

14 cup powdered zero-calorie sweetener (such as Swerve®) 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

two tbsp cocoa powder

1 tsp salt


Step 1 In a large mixing basin, beat cream cheese with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Reduce the mixer speed to low and gradually add the heavy cream and vanilla extract. Mix in the sweetener, cocoa powder, and salt until fully combined. Mix on high for 1 to 2 minutes more, or until light and fluffy. Refrigerate for later use or serve immediately.
Cook’s Notes:-

To reach a powdered consistency, pulse granulated sweetener in a blender or food processor.
To add variation, use different flavored extracts.
